Akin is signing number 50!
Akin Famewo (Pictured left with LTFC Chairman Nick Owen) becomes the 50th player in just three years to be signed at Centre of Excellence from the TIPS Development Programme.
Akin, aged 10, attended our Development Centre in St Neots and was soon promoted to the Performance Centre. After a successful trial period with the Centre of Excellence he was signed in August 2009.
Even more impressively, 45 of these players are still at Luton Town, with two (Alex Lacey and Newman Carney) having signed scholarships.
