Luton were recently rated as the most successful club outside of the Premier League in terms of producing players to play in the top flight, with eight graduates from their Youth Programme playing the in the Premier league, and two in the England squad. In preparation for next season the Hatters are launching two Elite Football Academies for 16-18 year olds, ensuring that all players are catered for regardless of their academic background.Are you looking to do BTEC in sport and train at one of the UKs best football facilities? Hitchin Town are one of non-leagues most progressive clubs, and have recently refurbished their state of the art training facility in Baldock. The Academy has a first class training and coaching programme (delivered by Luton Towns UEFA A Licence coaches), with the players training daily and having the opportunities to progress to Luton Towns Youth Team and Hitchin Towns Under 18 and reserve team. There is an academic programme tailored around the players training schedule with a minimum BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport (Performance and Excellence) delivered by Luton Towns full-time Education Officer in the fully equipped classroom at the training venue.  The Football Academy is designed for boys who want to take a vocational qualification whilst receiving a full-time football training programme. This gives players an opportunity to progress into the professional game whilst also giving them opportunities to progress to Football Scholarships in the USA or a part-time football career.For further information please contact:Luton Town on 01582 583618Email aballetta.ltfc_hotmail.co.uk
