What is the Centre of Excellence?The Centre of Excllence is the final tier in the development structure before the Academy. Its aim is to prepare players to play Academy football by replicating the coaching syllabus and methods used. In addition the coaches who work with the Academy teams also coach the Centre of Excellence teams to ease the transition for players.Where is it held?There are two Centres of Excellence. The Bedfordshire Centre is based at Crawley Green FC in Luton, the Hertfordshire Centre is based at Baldock Arena.How often do players train with LTFC?Once a week, players continue to play and train with their club sides. How do I get selected for the Centre of Excellence?By impressing at our Performance Centre or being scouted whilst playing for your club/school.Do players play for Luton Town?Yes, there are around 8 games per season, mainly during school holiays.Who are the coaches?All coaches are UEFA A or B Licence qualified.
